Why GO Green?
Cleanfit TUB – made from paper.
Did you know our tubs are eco-friendly and made from paper with foil lining? Going eco-friendly with our tubs is not only good for the environment but also for us too, less chemicals and residue equals a happier body.
Eco-friendly packaging is a great alternative to the large plastic tubs commonly found in the protein industry. “Flexible” and eco-friendly packaging stems from easily pliable materials using any combination of paper, plastic film, or foil. Plastic packaging is rigid, hard, and stiff which is typically moulded or blown to a suitable shape, without permanent deformation and zero flexibility. Like most plastics, the typical protein tub contains petroleum commonly known as High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a thermoplastic polymer. It’s on of the most versatile plastic materials making it a common packaging source in the industry. Not only is HDPE found in protein tubs, but it’s also found within the food and healthcare industry, providing transport protection for everything from jugs to shampoo bottles.
Eco-friendly packaging requires less material to produce, making it more environmentally friendly. Stainable packaging retains product freshness thanks to its protective properties, whilst also being airtight ensures the freshness, moisture content and microbiological integrity.
Using eco-friendly and sustainable packaging for our Cleanfit protein shakes shows our commitment to environmental sustainability beyond our high-quality protein sourcing practices.
